Review:
When I first saw the trailers for this, I was really impressed. The art looked fantastic, neat character designs (a good realistic look) and that ship looked real cool =) After seeing it though, I'm a little disappointed. I don't think it was bad, far from it…just not quite what I was expecting. The story is rather unique, and took me a while to make sense of some of the scenes, but overall nicely done. As I said before, the animation itself is really good, and the music fits the scenes perfectly. Overall, quite good, but just short of being great. An excellent choice for a weekend of anime, not too sure about buying it though. If you do, get the movie version, as it's both episodes on one tape…and we all know how much ADV likes to charge =)
