Small for his age, Yukinari has been bullied and abused by girls all his life. Now in high school, he has developed a rare condition: whenever girls touch him, or even come close, he breaks out in hives. Imagine his surprise, when he is suddenly transported (via his bathtub) to the city of Seiren on a mystic world invisibly orbiting the Earth, and populated with vast numbers of women and very few men. Fortunately, he has a new friend, Miharu-chan, whose touch inexplicably doesn't affect him.
Herself the Elf sez: Wow......have we missed any cliches? A dumb guy who's allergic to girls? Check. Dumb hero constantly ending up in water with half-naked girls (via the magical bathtub dimension)? Check. Dumb hero being chased by oversexed females and getting beaten up constantly? Check. Trio of sweet ditzy love interest, violent tomboy and busty dominatrix? Check.
This show is so derivative it's hardly worth it to bother reviewing it. Holy stereotype, Batman. The dumb-allergic-to-girls hero being chased and beaten up by a million psychotic chicks wasn't funny the last 500 times we saw it, and it isn't funny now. Not to mention the rather flawed logic of a world where, despite 9/10ths of the population being female, everybody for some reason remains heterosexual in order to fight over the few men like sex-starved hyenas instead of just having nice lesbian relationships.
Besides all that, it's your standard cute bright-colour art and unimpressive synth BGM. This show gets a big BLAH from me. Not recommended except for freaks who still find stupid harem shows entertaining.
